eLook, Ma! We're bloggin'! Check out our new blog at www.theblessedthistle.blogspot.com. We'll be talking about everything from herbal use, babbling about stuff going on in the shoppe (er, meaning, the nuts and bolts of creating what we do), musings about spiritual and ritual methods and ways of being, and much more! We are hoping to be able to post twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Next up we will be talking about natural methods to treat mastitis (11.6.07).

eComing for Winter Solstice: Beautiful gift bags! More info on those later, we are still in the planning stages. The idea so far includes a "tea experience": gift box, tea infuser and tea cup. Maybe a journal, a candle as well? You'll see! Check in around late October to find out!

Never fear, more tea is on the way. We are about to reveal our latest blends, a fantastic nutritive tea for pregnant mama's, a limited one for the Solstice season, and scrumptious mint tea coming in time for the holidays.

♥ We're back! To all our customers out there, thank you for your patience. We are now taking orders again, and looking forward to bringing you some new products this season! 

And we are thrilled to announce the birth of Honora Beth, our new little sister for Ruby. Pictures soon! She came into the world fast and easy, which made her family very happy.

e Spring is almost here  and with that comes new life. We are thrilled and honored that a new little girl is expected in our family, due the beginning of April, 2007. At that time, we will be taking a much needed but brief break in order to bond with our newborn. Expect a hold on all online sales from April 1st thru June 1st. This will be posted on our site, look for more info. (And, yes, pictures of Ruby's little sister!)

i News for Fall 2006i

♥ IT'S HERE! Wait no more, order now  It's almost ready! We are toiling away in our little medicine hut, preparing our Breast Balm for it's Fall debut. There is much to do between reworking our site, creating labels and brochures, creating that first wonderful batch, need we go on?

∞ What about that herbal education info page and all that? It will happen! Our Breast Balm kind of pre-empted that, but it's next on our list!

 On a more personal note, we are thrilled to share that our daughter Ruby is going to become a big sister! We are blessed with the pending arrival of a little one who will be the third Aries in our little family, due in April of 2007 (yikes!).

i News for Summer 2006i

 We've been busy, making up for all the time we were resting last winter (that's a joke, people. Anyone who has children knows there is no rest!). We are thrilled to share our latest tea creation with you all, Isolde's Love Tonic. Check it out! A delicious infusion to to share with someone you love, or if you want to bring love into your life. Love makes the world go 'round, and we're just doing our part.

Next, it's almost ready! Look for our wonderful new breast balm to appear sometime in the late Summer or early Fall. (And if you are wondering what we're talking about, take a look at our News for Spring 2006!).

And yes, we are still planning on putting up the herbal info and How To page. We'll get to it, promise!

i News for Winter Spring 2006i

Well, its been a loooong winter, hasn't it? The Dark Mother held court for a very long time this season, we can only trust that She must have been very busy nourishing some amazing growth for us all this coming Summer! Here at our little corner of the world, we have been busy nourishing strong new growth as well, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Boobie Butter is discontinued! Never fear; breast help is on the way!

| Many of you have expressed sorrow and frustration that your beloved Boobie Butter is no longer going to be available. We were pretty upset about this ourselves, since it was such a great product.

      We decided to address your requests directly, and have been spending a lot of time and intention on creating the best Breast Balm ever! This balm will have the same goals as Boobie Butter ~ to nourish healthy breasts, to help flush toxins from breast tissue, and to create a more enjoyable self-exam experience. And it also has been greatly inspired by the teachings of Susun Weed in regard to optimum breast health. But we've gone ahead and fine tuned the ingredients in our unique balm to better reach your  goal of healthy, happy breasts. We are in the stage right now of testing this product on passionate volunteers, and look forward to bringing this product to you soon.

      In keeping with our tradition of honoring the muse for each creation, henceforth our balm will be known as: Boudicca's Breast Balm. This is in honor of the great Celtic Warrior Queen, Boudicca, who defended her family and lands against daunting adversary's. You can't keep a good woman down!

| Coming up next: herbal information for each of the herbs that we use in our tea blends! Have you ever wondered "Why do they use that particular herb?" or  "What exactly does kava kava do, anyway?" or how about "What does alterative mean?" Well, now you will have a comprehensive section complete with Latin names, times to harvest, and all kinds of tidbits from medicinal uses to folkore and magical properties.

In keeping with our commitment to support the Wise Women Ways, we will also be creating a section with herbal "How To's" so that you can better use herbs in your day to day life, as well as share recipes. And if we can actually get all this done by the end of Summer, we may even be launching a blog site for interactive discussions around health, spirit and healing!
